Informacje o zabiegu

Most procedures are performed under local anaesthesia. After surgical excision, suturing and dressing are usually applied, which are removed after 5-14 days. Routine post-operative treatment is histological evaluation of a fragment of the lesion removed during surgery. This makes it possible to assess the degree of malignancy of changed tissue and influences further decisions concerning the treatment. For a few days after the treatment, you should avoid stretching the skin at the place of treatment, rapid movements and soaking the dressing. The scar at first will be visible, but after some time it will go pale and decrease. It is important not to sunbathe for 6 months. It is not possible to cut, remove skin lesions without leaving a trace. However, usually it is very little visible trace.
