Informacje o zabiegu

Pterygium cutout with correction and offset of the conjunctivitis lobe (trans-location). The pterygium is a degenerative change in the form of fibrous tissue that tends to grow on the cornea. Usually the change appears from the nasal side of eye. Exposure to UV radiation, irritating effects of wind and dust are factors that predispose to pterygium formation. Pterygium can be primary and secondary (recurrent), real or alleged. The difference is that real pterygium connects with the cornea on its entire surface, and alleged pterygium is attached to the cornea only with its vertex.

The procedure can be performed in the outpatient centers of ETER-MED Health Centre, after obtaining a positive medical classification even on the day of visit.
